Honoring Those Who Make a Difference Behind the Scenes
Program Overview:
The Unsung Hero Program recognizes individuals in our community who go above and beyond to make a difference without seeking recognition. These everyday heroes dedicate their time, energy, and resources to helping others, creating positive change, and strengthening our community.
Who can be nominated?
We are looking for individuals who: Make a meaningful impact in their community. Volunteer their time, talents or resources to help others. Demonstrate kindness, generosity, and dedication. Often work behind the scenes without recognition.

Nomination Process:
Nomination Timeline 2025 - 2026 Season
Submit a Nomination- Fill out the Google Form
Selection Committee Review- A panel will evaluate nominations based on impact, dedication, and selflessness.
Recognition and Prizes:
Each selected Unsung Hero will receive: Special in-game recognition at a Norfolk Admirals home game. (October- April)
A certificate or award honoring their contributions. Tickets to a Norfolk Admirals home game. A feature on Admirals Assist’s website and social media.

Eligibility: Nominees must be individuals who have made a significant, positive impact in the community through their selfless actions. Nominees do not need to be affiliated with a specific organization to qualify. Submission: All nominations must be submitted by the stated deadline. Incomplete or late entries may not be considered.
Selection Process: A selection committee will review all nominations and choose the recipient based on the impact, dedication and uniqueness of their contributions. The
committee's decision is final. Consent: By submitting a nomination, the nominator confirms that the nominee has given permission to be considered, and that the information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge.Use of Information: The nominee's name story and image may be used in promotional materials, media, and public announcements related to the award. General Conditions: Admirals Assist reserves the right to modify or cancel the nomination process at any time. Nominators and nominees agree to abide by these terms.
